Where did Lofy begin?

It began with the search for a simple, well-crafted leather notebook. The need for something considered and purposeful led to the creation of the first handmade piece — and gradually to a broader exploration of materials and techniques.

From leather journals, the practice expanded into bookbinding, the making of custom notebook inserts, and the use of distinctive covers: textiles, handmade papers from Nepal and all over the world, Italian papers, and traditional techniques such as ebru.

Over time, the focus returned to leather — wallets, key holders, eyewear cases, and small bags, all stitched by hand. The work continues to evolve, recently incorporating ebru on leather, combining material tradition with surface experimentation.

The process remains slow and intentional. Each piece is made by hand in Greece, with emphasis on material quality and construction detail.

The practice remains open — shaped by experimentation and time.
